How to Sync Lightroom Presets to Mobile: Your Quick and Easy Guide
Step 1: Install Lightroom CC on Both Desktop and Mobile
To sync your Lightroom presets to mobile, you’ll need to use Lightroom CC, not Lightroom Classic. Make sure you have Lightroom CC installed on both your desktop and mobile devices, and that you’re using the same Adobe Creative Cloud account on both.
On Desktop: Download and install Adobe Lightroom CC from the Adobe Creative Cloud app.
On Mobile: Install the Lightroom Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2: Import Presets into Lightroom CC Desktop
Open Lightroom CC on your desktop.
Click on the Edit icon (three sliders) in the top-right corner.
Under the Presets panel, click the ••• icon and choose Import Presets.
Locate the preset files (.XMP format) on your computer and select them.
Once imported, your presets will appear in the Presets panel in Lightroom CC.
Step 3: Enable Sync in Lightroom CC Desktop
To sync your presets and edits, ensure syncing is enabled in Lightroom CC:
Click on the cloud icon in the top-right corner of Lightroom CC.
Make sure you’re signed in with your Adobe Creative Cloud account.
Ensure syncing is active (a spinning circle or checkmark indicates sync status).
Lightroom CC will now sync your presets and photos to the cloud, making them accessible on mobile.
Step 4: Open Lightroom Mobile and Access Your Presets
Open the Lightroom Mobile app on your phone or tablet.
Sign in with the same Adobe Creative Cloud account you used on the desktop.
Once the sync is complete, navigate to the Presets section (found in the toolbar when editing a photo).
You should see your synced Lightroom CC presets ready to use.

Troubleshooting Tips
Presets Not Showing Up? Double-check that you’re using Lightroom CC and not Lightroom Classic, as Classic does not sync presets to mobile.
Syncing Taking Too Long? Ensure your internet connection is stable. Large collections of photos or presets can take time to sync.
Migrating from Lightroom Classic? Export your presets as .XMP files from Lightroom Classic and then import them into Lightroom CC to make them available for syncing.
